I even learned the word “tulip” comes from a Turkish word for "turban" due to the flower's shape… this place is a must visit for sure. Sydney B2025-02-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you are considering using Happy Hen Gardens for your next event, I daresay look no further! Michelle took on the challenge of creating 23 centerpieces for our November wedding. We had a florist for our bouquets, swags, etc. and she had no concerns about matching the colors and floral style. Michelle sat down with us a few weeks before our wedding and went over what we did and didn't like from her options, creating a mock bouquet. The real bouquets were just as lovely! Truly, she was communicative, kind, and affordable. I was so thrilled to have found her, and hope you can find that same joy in her flowers at your next event! :)

Thanks Sydney! Was such a pleasure working with you 💜 Emilly Prado2024-11-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were thrilled to work with Michelle of Happy Hen Gardens for our wedding and can't recommend more highly. The experience of visiting the flower farm (and bonus—farm stand!) was so fun and personalized. We were able to walk around while discussing our vision and received help in narrowing colors and style. Then we had a vision of DIYing flower garlands for our arbor and Michelle let us pick up flowers in bulk on another day. She did all our table arrangements in small Mexican mugs and our two large bouquets for the sweetheart table, including prompt delivery. Incredible pricing as well! Such an incredible experience — 10/10 recommend and can't wait to have an excuse to book her again.

Thank you so much Stephanie, was such a pleasure! 💜 Ariana Rayment2024-09-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Happy Hen Gardens is amazing, I highly recommend using Michelle as a wedding florist. She made my bouquet, family boutonnieres and provided us with all of our wedding flowers for table decor. She let me visit the farm and helped me decide what type and color of flowers I wanted for both my bouquet and table arrangements. To top it all off she’s very responsive and was willing to deliver the flowers for a fee. Thank you for making my wedding all the more lovely!

We are called Happy Hen Gardens because we LOVE our Chickens & Gardens! We have 62 hens, 30 chicks & about 2 acres of land. We fill almost every square inch we have with plants & flowers of all types, from veggies & herbs to annuals & perennials.
Each of our chickens has a unique personality, special noises & clucks they make, and as my daughter says, we love each of them equally. (Although I do have my favorites). The hen pictured with grey cheeks & beard is LuAnne, she is 14 years old! If you haven’t tasted our gorgeous eggs you must do so very soon!
I grew up picking flowers and enjoying gardening all throughout childhood and adulthood. This farm stand combines the love of gardening and chickens, and sharing the bounty with our friends and neighbors. Come have a cup of coffee with us on Saturdays this year!

Veg & Flowers

This year we will have over 300 dahlia plants growing, and some of the new varieties we just planted are Bumble Rumble, Rip City and Labyrynth. Pictured is ‘Shiloh Noelle’, a huge dinner plate dahlia. In 2025 we will have 46 new varieties, including Flip Flop, dazzle me, Tartan, and Wizard of Oz, can’t wait!

In 2022 we grew 80 different tomato types in the hopes of finding our favorites. We found them! We are growing Early Girl, Big Beef, Black Krim, San Marzano, Brandywine, Rapunzel, Sun Gold, and Super Sweet 100. Can’t wait for tomato season!
